RULES & INFORMATION
These rules are in place for your safety and the well-being of those around you. Please respect these rules and the other campers.
THE CAMPGROUND
1. SPEED LIMIT - 5 MPH. Please drive slowly and watch for children, bikes, pedestrians etc.
Offenders will be removed with no refund.
2. QUIET HOURS - 10:00PM - 8:00AM. Excessive loud noise or loud music will not be permitted at any time of the day.
3. ALCOHOL & DRUGS - Roaming the grounds with alcohol is not encouraged. Underage drinking is prohibited. All drugs, including marijuana, are prohibited.
Violators will be removed from the campground.
4. SITE ASSIGNMENT - Changing campsites without permission is prohibited.
5. USE OF CAMPSITE — Two (2) Adults, three (3) children under 18, and a maximum of two (2) pets are permitted per site. Additional guests will be charged $5.00 per night. One (1) camping unit per site.
Tents for lodging purposes can be set up with prior permission at $25 per night. The site may only be used by the renters. Family members or guests will not have use of the site if the original renters are not present.
6. VISITORS - All visitors must stop at the Front Office to register. A visitor fee will be charged, $5.00 per adult and FREE for children under the age of 10. Campground residents will be solely responsible for their guests.
7. CAMPING ETIQUETTE - Campsites must be kept neat, orderly and free of trash. Respect your neighbors and do not walk through other sites. Foul language will not be tolerated. Campers who become disruptive will be escorted off the grounds by NYS Police/Sheriffs without a refund, regardless of time of day.
8. VEHICLES & GOLF CARTS - Motorized vehicles of any type may only be operated by a person with a valid drivers license. Do not park vehicles on grass in wet conditions. Electric golf carts are permitted for a fee. An insurance certificate is required for all golf carts. Golf carts without lights may not be driven after dark. You MUST sign a release of liability and an assumption of risk waiver/agreement. No ATV’s or UTV’s allowed.
9. SEWER - There must be a sealed connection on your sewer hook-up. No hose drops are permitted..
10. PETS – All pets must be on a short leash and under control at all times. Owners are required to pick up after their pets immediately. Do not leave pets unattended. Any pet causing a disturbance, including excessive barking, will not be permitted to stay. Pets are not permitted in any buildings, the pond, or playground area. Do not tie pets to the trees in any way. Proof of a valid rabies certificate must be provided before any dog is allowed on property. Dispose of pet waste in the main dumpster only. Maximum of two (2) dogs allowed per site.
11. CAMPFIRE - Campfires are only permitted within the fire ring provided, or a personal fire pit. Campfires must be kept under control and never left unattended. Fire must be out before turning in for the night. Do not move the fire ring. Do not burn garbage in the fire rings.
12. TREES - Cutting, nailing (decorations, name plaques etc.), or damaging of any trees or plant life is strictly prohibited. Any climbing of trees is also prohibited.
13. CHILDREN - Parents are responsible for the safety and actions of their children. Children should not be left unattended in the store, restrooms, pavilion, playground and the beach area. Children must be at their campsite by the beginning of quiet hours at 10PM. Vandalism and disrespect for property or others will not be tolerated.
14. BICYCLE - All NYS Bicycle Safety Laws must be followed on camp grounds. These laws include: helmet use, safe speeds, and no riding after dusk. Skateboards, razor scooters and rollerblades are not permitted. Pedestrians get the right of way.
15. FACILITIES - Do not wash any dishes in the restrooms. Do not smoke in any of the buildings; this includes- E-Cigarettes. Do not throw butts on the ground.
16. LAUNDRY - Clotheslines are not permitted at the campsite. Do not hang clothing or towels on your awning.
17. STAKES — Stakes should be avoided due to underground utilities.
18. INFLATABLE POOLS - Inflatable pools are not permitted due to safety concerns and insurance limitations.
19. FIREWORKS – Fireworks are not permitted at any time. Chinese lanterns are also prohibited.
20. WEAPONS – No lethal weapons are permitted on campground property.
21. GARBAGE – Garbage should be disposed of in the dumpster provided by the campground. DO NOT leave garbage on the ground around or behind the dumpster. Residential garbage only. No garbage should be left outside your campsite at night.
22. DRONES – Drones and UAV’s are prohibited over the campground airspace due to safety and privacy concerns.
23. SEASONAL CAMPERS ONLY – RV units must be no older than 15 years old unless granted prior approval from campground management.
NOTE: RUSTIC WOODS CAMPGROUND MANAGEMENT assumes no responsibility for safety of campers or guests. We have the right to inspect any site at any time. We reserve the right to terminate the camping privileges and have anyone removed from the campground property for infractions of any rules or policy without a refund.
RESERVATIONS
1. Check-in time begins at 3:00PM, and ends at 9:00PM. Early check-ins are allowed if available.
2. Check-out time is 1:00PM. Late check-outs may be available.
3. Reservations are not transferable without prior approval.
4. The minimum age to rent and occupy a site is 21 years of age.
5. Cancellation / Early Departure – Your reservation cannot be cancelled once checked in online or in-person. There are no refunds for early departure.
6. Campsite rental location is subject to change. While we make every effort to ensure you are placed on the site number reserved, a reservation of a specific site number is not guaranteed due to unforeseen circumstances. We reserve the right to place you on any campsite.
POND, BEACH, & PLAYGROUND AREAS
1. Swimming is permitted within buoys and designated beach area only.
2. Swimming area is open from 11AM till 1 hour before dusk.
3. There is NO lifeguard on duty, swim at your own risk. A waiver must be signed at time of registration.
4. Per NYS Law, children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by two (2) parents or adults over 18 years of age at the swimming area. There must be one (1) adult on the beach at all times.
5. Children under 16 years of age must be supervised at the playground.
6. No one is permitted on the beach or play area after dusk.
7. Glass bottles and alcoholic containers are not permitted at the playground or swim areas.
8. Rock and sand throwing will not be tolerated.
9. Fishing is catch and release only, no license required.
10. You must sign out boats and life jackets in the office before usage. All persons are required to wear a life jacket when using any watercraft. One (1) adult must be present on board at all times.
11. Additional rules are posted on-site at the playground, pond and beach areas.
INFORMATION
Fees & Payment
1. Rates include two (2) adults, and three (3) children (under 18 years of age). Additional persons will be charged $5.00 per person per night.
2. A visitor fee will be charged, $5.00 per adult and FREE for children under the age of 10.
3. A fee of $25 per tent per night will be charged for erecting small or family sized tents.
4. A valid credit card is required to make a reservation.
5. Your price subject to change if your reservation is made prior to the start of season.
CANCELLATION POLICY
1. No refunds for early departure.
2. Cancellations of a holiday reservation will receive no refund.
SHORT-TERM RESERVATIONS
1. Cancellations with more than 10 days of notice will receive a refund of deposit less $15 fee.
2. Cancellations with 10 days or less of notice will receive a refund of deposit less one night at prevailing daily rate.
